Personnel attentionné, propreté des lieux, situé près de tout.
For my personal point of view the hotel staff was the best since many years. The staff (E.G. breakfast, reception) was very polite, service- oriented and we could ask any questions. After the first breakfast the employee knew our preferences. The location is a little ambivalent, but after all very good. The street of the Golden Wheel is called Nerdudova is something like the heart for the Mala Strana. Therefore the street is a little busy and many tourist are around. But the hotel very close to many sites like the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, Petrin Tower, the Old Town square and so on. After all the Nerdudova is part of many guidebooks and is a place of interest for itself.
Location and Staff were very good. Large rooms and free Wifi.
Very small breakfast choice and very cramped seating. Cleanliness was not great, quite dusty and we went to make a cup of tea the first day and the kettle was full of mould.
Comfortable hotel in a good location near the castle. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our stay was very pleasant. Breakfast was adequate but could have had more variety. Many restaurants nearby and about 20 minute walk to Charles Bridge and Old Town.
Up a steep hill fom the Lesser Town.
We were made to feel very welcome. Staff were forward (but not pushy) about offering help. Modern decor in an old building. Near to some sites and we were able to walk to almost everywhere else we wanted to go in Prague - we will normalluy walk for 30 minutes without thinlking about alternative modes of transport
The coice at breakfast could have been bigger - but this is a small point and would not influence a decision to return therre
Pleasant staff, great location, no complaints.
If you order a taxi, do it for 100m lower in the street (it changes to one-way), otherwise you have to go all round the castle (3x distance to the centre)
The Golden Wheel was a fabulous find. The hotel is well located and the room was very comfortable, spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. We even had a balcony with a view of the castle. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel well exceeded our expectations, particularly considering a touristy city like Prague.
The breakfast selection could be improved (for example, I would enjoy finding some dark bread), but still, it was sufficient.
The staff at The Golden Wheel were helpful and friendly. The hotel is set in a lovely location on the slopes beneath Prague Castle and is only a few minutes stroll to King Charles Bridge and the Old Town so was far out enough to avoid the hustle but close enough to still get a good feel for the city. The buffet breakfast was great and set us up for the day nicely. The room was lovely and spacious with a superb bathroom and good, fast free wi-fi.
The only minor gripes would be that the bed was not particularly comfortable and that the television only had very limited channels, with the only English speaking one (BBC News) unable to get a decent picture.
The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The location was perfect for sightseeing. The location was quiet. There was a good selection at breakfast. The hotel had historical value and a pleasant ambiance.
You do have to walk up-hill to get to the hotel, but it is worth the walk.
Felt like a quite haven away from all the bustle of Prague. Extremely quiet and peaceful. Lovely decor, tastefully done, extremely clean and good service.
That I had to leave :)
Very nice design (modern mixed with authentic); kind stuff; very delicious home made croissant at breakfast; free wifi at room (203)
Location and room size.
No Czech tv channels! This is unacceptable in a hotel of this price category in Prague. It gives an impression that Czech tourists (like us) are not welcome.
The Golden Wheel was simply amazing place to stay! Very friendly staff, helpful even to recommend good restaurants around the city centre and also in booking tickets and tables. The breakfast is fresh and good quality. Beautifully decorated rooms!
Great hotel on a Great place . Just outside the bussiest streets but very close to the castle, Charles bridge, shopping streets . Also it is one of the nicest streets in prague. Very clean rooms, Good breakfast and nice staff. One of the best hotels in have stayed.
Nice small hotel at the Prague Castle. Very clean rooms and friendly hotel staff. Strongly recommended.
